Sweetness and depth on the palate lead to a long, lingering finish, touched by tonka bean and cedarwood. Less than 1% of Savanna's production follows the Rhum Agricole method, and this symbol of generosity stands among its two oldest casks.

“The aroma has impressive depth: warm, ripe fruit notes combine with a clearly pronounced but harmoniously integrated wood note, as one would expect from a distillate of this age, but unfortunately does not always find. Nothing seems artificial; rather, a multi-layered, almost meditative overall picture unfolds.
For me, this Agricole is sophisticated, challenging in the best sense of the word, but never overwhelming. It demands attention and, above all, time. If you give it this in the glass, it opens up layer by layer. If you taste it too quickly, you run the risk of missing out on the full potential of this exceptionally fine spirit.
